These interim organic standards are based on the second draft (published in October 2001) of the South African National Department of Agriculture's new regulations under the Agricultural product Standards Act of 1990.  Where AFRISCO tightens the draft any added clauses will be underlined.

- Ingredients of agricultural origin which have not been produced organically
